Built on Real Experience

We started LeapProStart because we lived through the frustration of buggy apps ourselves. Now we help teams build software that actually works.

How We Got Here

Back in 2019, I was working on a project that should have been straightforward. But after three weeks of users complaining about crashes and weird behavior on different devices, I realized something – most teams don't really test their apps the way real people use them.

That project taught me that good testing isn't just about running automated scripts. It's about understanding how someone might actually interact with your app when they're distracted, on a slow connection, or using an older phone.

So we built LeapProStart around that idea. Real testing by people who understand both the technical side and the human side of mobile apps.

The People Behind the Process

We're not a huge team, and that's intentional. Everyone here actually works on client projects, so we stay connected to the real challenges teams face.

Kasper Lindström, Technical Director at LeapProStart

Kasper Lindström

Technical Director

Started debugging mobile apps in 2016 when iOS and Android fragmentation was even worse than today. Has seen pretty much every weird device behavior you can imagine, and probably a few you can't.

Sienna Kowalczyk, Quality Assurance Lead at LeapProStart

Quality Assurance Lead

Specializes in finding the edge cases that break apps in production. Her testing approach focuses on real user scenarios rather than just checking boxes on a test plan.

What Drives Our Work

These aren't corporate buzzwords on a wall. They're the principles that actually guide how we approach every project.

Real-World Testing

We test apps the way your users actually use them – not just the happy path. That means interrupted connections, background apps, notifications popping up, and all the messy reality of mobile usage.

Clear Communication

When we find issues, we explain them in plain language. You get context about why something matters and practical steps to fix it, not just a list of technical problems.

Practical Solutions

Every recommendation we make considers your timeline and resources. We focus on fixes that actually improve user experience, not theoretical perfection that takes months to implement.

How We Actually Work

Our process evolved from working with dozens of different teams. It's designed to fit into your development cycle, not disrupt it.

1

Understanding Your Context

We start by learning about your app, your users, and your biggest concerns. This isn't a generic questionnaire – it's a real conversation about what success looks like for your project.

2

Comprehensive Testing

We test across real devices, different network conditions, and various usage patterns. Our approach combines automated checks with human insight to catch both obvious bugs and subtle usability issues.

3

Actionable Reports

You receive detailed findings with clear priorities and practical next steps. We include reproduction steps, screenshots, and recommendations that fit your development workflow.

4

Ongoing Support

After initial testing, we're available to verify fixes, test new features, or address questions as your app evolves. Many clients work with us through multiple release cycles.
